Three Super Defenders Who Could Replace Antonio Rudiger At Chelsea

Chelsea’s right-back needs a skillful, stamina, and experienced player to take this position Sevilla defender Kounde has been linked with a move to Chelsea after impressing in La Liga this season.

The Blues are reportedly close to signing the 23-year-old, who appears to be an exciting prospect with six years on Rudiger.

Barcelona is also said to be interested, which is not surprising given Kounde’s role in La Liga’s best defense this season.

The France international is athletic and technically strong, so he should have no trouble adjusting to life in the Premier League.

Josko Gvardiol

Chelsea is clearly looking for a long-term solution in their search for a new center-back.

Gvardiol, 20, of RB Leipzig, made his Bundesliga debut this season after spending last season on loan at Dinamo Zagreb.

He has, however, been a standout performer for Domenico Tedesco’s squad.

Gvardiol has received praise for his poise on the ball and ability to drive out from the back, both of which will undoubtedly appeal to Tuchel.

Chelsea, on the other hand, isn’t the only one who is interested. Tottenham is also interested in Croatian, so the Blues may face competition.

A fee of £67 million may be sufficient to secure Gvardiol’s signature.

Wesley Fofana

There have only been a few reports suggesting that Fofana could be a Chelsea target, but the Leicester defender will undoubtedly have many suitors.

Injury derailed the 21-year-season, old’s and he only made seven Premier League appearances, all of which came in the final two months of the season.

Leicester’s form improved when one of the division’s brightest young talents returned to the starting XI.

Should Chelsea prioritize the signing of Fofana? Glen Johnson certainly does.

“I think he’s great. “He reminds me of Raphael Varane; he’s quick, good on the ball, and strong,” the former Chelsea full-back told GGRecon.

“I believe Fofana would be an excellent replacement for Rudiger at Chelsea.” He wasn’t always like this.
