Two excellent seasons in a row at Monaco have teams all over Europe interested in him, and he will have his pick of offers this summer.
A story in Marca today discusses Real Madrid’s interest (surprise!) but concludes that a move to the Premier League is more likely.
According to reports, Madrid is willing to wait another year to sign the France midfielder. If he truly wants to go there – and the way this is written suggests he does – he will have to play another season at Monaco. In many ways, that would be beneficial to his development.
However, the piece concludes that the Premier League’s high interest will make it very difficult for Monaco’s Tchouameni to turn down a move this time around, with Chelsea named as one of the front runners in that race.
We can finally start making moves now that we’re out of the ownership transfer quagmire.
