Juventus Have Made Contact With Manchester City Over The Availability Of Star Midfielder Bernardo Silva

The Italian giants are eager to sign an all-around midfielder in the January window. And Silva has emerged as a potential option for Juventus. The Old Lady looking to offload both Weston McKennie and Aaron Ramsey.

As per the report, City ‘could accept’ a loan offer for Silva from Juventus. However, this could be dependent on injuries and how much playing time the 27-year-old playmaker gets between now and the January transfer window.

And so far, the signs are not looking great for Juventus. Despite Silva reportedly wanting to leave in the summer, Pep Guardiola has started the former AS Monaco star regularly despite the arrival of Jack Grealish.

The £150,000-a-week midfielder has started six of City’s seven Premier League fixtures, with the Manchester giants yet to face defeat in the top-flight with Juventus target Silva in the starting XI this campaign.

Indeed, it has been a stunning redemption arch for Silva, who looked certain to be City’s big summer departure during the off-season. However, Guardiola appears to have given his trust back to the 27-year-old.

And this could all but quash any move for the Turin side. Juventus, who sit sixth in Serie A, will unlikely have the finances to convince Silva to make the move to Italy. And with the midfielder back in the City XI, he has no real reason to depart the Manchester club.

With Silva enjoying his football, Juventus could be forced to look at other options despite seemingly already making contact with City for the midfielder.
