Gary Neville Compares Thomas Tuchel To Three Premier League Rival Managers

Gary Neville referred to Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel, as well as three other Premier League managers, as “animals” in the dugout.

Tuchel, 48, has just completed his first and a half as manager at Stamford Bridge.

He had a busy 2021/22 season, leading his team to the League Cup and FA Cup finals, both of which they lost on penalties to Liverpool. In recent months, there has also been the spotlight on government sanctions and a club takeover to contend with.

However, he is a manager who has won over the Blues’ fan base.

Tuchel’s someone that Sky Sports pundit Neville rates as one of the elite managers in England.

He’s compared him to Pep Guardiola of Manchester City, Jurgen Klopp of Liverpool, and Antonio Conte of Tottenham Hotspur.

Because they are so highly regarded, Tuchel, Guardiola, Klopp, and Conte all ended up with teams in the Premier League’s top four.

“These four managers, Tuchel, Conte, Klopp, and Guardiola, are animals.” They constantly win trophies. They’re on the field, and they can eat you up and eat you alive almost in their presence and aura,” Neville explained.

Chelsea’s new owners must have faith in Tuchel as the club’s manager at Stamford Bridge.

He’s handled the pressure extremely well since taking his first job in England, and he’s gotten so much out of this team.

Let’s hope he gets the financial backing he needs to improve his squad this summer.

Tuchel stated earlier this month that he is fairly open to potential changes in his team’s system based on the players’ Chelsea signs, but they must have a takeover approved before they can engage in transfer activity.
