FC Salzburg Striker Karim Adeyemi Will Choose To Sign For Either Borussia Dortmund Or RB Leipzig In The Summer

The 19-year-old has found himself on the radar of a number of clubs after a blistering start to the season.

He already has eight goals from his first 10 league appearances of the season for Salzburg. And that has led to plenty of interest from rival Bundesliga teams, as well as Liverpool.

His three performances for Germany have also stoked interest. Adeyemi scored in last month’s win over Armenia and grabbed an assist from the bench in Monday’s victory over North Macedonia.

Adeyemi is reportedly on Liverpool’s radar and now Sky Sports Deutschland also report that Jurgen Klopp is “interested” in the player.

Klopp and Co look like they could be disappointed though because the transfer wheels are moving quickly in Germany.

Bayern Munich are also keen on the player, but Adeyemi wants first-team football. And with Robert Lewandowski blocking his path in Bavaria the routes to Leipzig and Dortmund are “hotter”.

And the player himself is said to be keen “to go the Haaland way”.

The Adeyemi camp are thinking that Erling Haaland will leave Dortmund next summer when his €75m release clause becomes active. That would leave a huge void, which Adeyemi may well be capable of stepping into.

Leipzig though remains an option with the Red Bull connection too strong to ignore. Sky claim the two partner clubs have “already talked about a possible Adeyemi transfer”.

There’s strong history of Salzburg players stepping up to play for Leipzig, with Dominik Szoboszlai the most recent.

One reporter recently revealed that Adeyemi will definitely be leaving Salzburg next summer. And now his options look to have been narrowed down to two, with Liverpool on the outside looking in.
