Man United play West Ham in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night and the MEN can confirm the United squad for the game.
Dean Henderson has been included in Manchester United’s squad to play West Ham in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday.
The United stopper contracted COVID in pre-season and struggled to recover from the virus, but he’s been in full training at Carrington for three weeks now and he’s made a full return to fitness, which sees him named back in United’s squad.
The Manchester Evening News also understand that Henderson is expected to start against West Ham at Old Trafford.
Victor Lindelof is in United’s squad for Wednesday’s game against West Ham and that’s despite the Swedish centre-back not travelling down to London on Sunday with the remainder of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s sides as they won 2-1 thanks to Jesse Lingard’s goal.
Manchester United enjoyed a sensational transfer window, securing the signings of Jadon Sancho, Raphael Varane and… oh, yes, Cristiano Ronaldo.
Now, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be under pressure to deliver silverware with his star-studded front line. We cover every angle of the club at the MEN and with our dedicated United newsletter, you’ll never miss a headline. It’s free and there’s no spam.

22.9.21…NO Ronaldo, De Gea, Maguire, Varane or Pogba…… The Manchester United team arrive at The Hyatt Hotel in Manchester city centre on Wednesday afternoon to prepare for their Carabao Cup match against West Ham at Old Trafford….Phil Jones.
Jones hasn’t played for United’s first team since January 2020 against Tranmere in the FA Cup, but after successfully completing his rehabilitation from injury, it’s possible the 29-year-old could make an appearance against West Ham.
Solskjaer has commended Jones for battling his injury and speaking openly about mental health this week.
It’s understood David de Gea, Paul Pogba and Cristiano Ronaldo will be among those rested for West Ham’s visit.
Edinson Cavani’s wait to return to action for United continues as the centre-forward recovers from a ‘strain’ sustained during the international break.
Squad: Henderson, Heaton, Wan-Bissaka, Dalot, Lindelof, Jones, Bailly, Telles, McTominay, Matic, Van de Beek, Fernandes, Mata, Lingard, Elanga, Sancho, Martial, Greenwood.
