Chelsea Striker Seek A Big Move To Europe

Forward In some shady claims from Europe, Romelu Lukaku has been linked with a move to Real Madrid.

CaughtOffside has translated Spanish stories saying that Real Madrid is interested, but we couldn’t be less sure.

First and foremost, the striker does not fit their style of play. If you think he struggled at Chelsea, wait until you see him with Carlo Ancelotti’s calm, low-tempo Madrid club. Even if Vinicius provides excellent service, he will not be able to replace the team’s golden kid, Karim Benzema.

Aside from that, he doesn’t fit in with Real Madrid’s transfer strategy. This isn’t the old Galacticos. They seek for clever opportunities to sign the bigger names, and spending huge money on a fading forward is the last thing they want to do right now.

Florentino Perez, as CaughtOffside points out, will be quite unsure about this one.
