Chelsea Still Keep Eyes On Sergino Dest Of Barcelona Despite Kenedy’s Reurn

The situation with Kenedy returning to Chelsea has swung both ways now. First we heard that he definitely wouldn’t be playing a role in the first team, and had had his loan terminated just so that the club could find him a new destination.

Thomas Tuchel’s press conference today blew that all out of the water however, and the Chelsea boss spoke about “huge opportunity” for the Brazilian.

That ha convinced some fans that the left back cover situation is now sorted – but we still can’t rule out a move for Sergino Dest.

Matt Law was on the London is Blue podcast this week talking up the chances of the Barcelona player moving on loan to Chelsea.

If he is available on loan and the terms are reasonable for the rest of the season, he looks like a great option as he can play on both sides. Kenedy, as much as Tuchel talked him up, is barely qualified in comparison.
