Chelsea is set to turn their attention to signing a Manchester City star this summer if current players leave.
Many of The Blues’ current players’ futures are uncertain right now, ahead of a summer of major changes at the club. Not only is there a new ownership takeover, but many players are said to be contemplating their futures and awaiting meetings to discuss their next steps.
Of course, this player will need replacing if they do leave, and it could be a number of current attackers that Chelsea might have to replace.
According to The Telegraph today, selling one or all of Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech, and Christian Pulisic could see Chelsea consider a move for Raheem Sterling, who has one year remaining on his Manchester City contract and is yet to decide on his future.
They claim that Chelsea would be a more attractive option for other interested clubs.
